Who's the HOTTEST?

As if it wasn't already impossible to avoid the living dead in pop culture these days, along comes The CW's new "The Vampire Diaries" to -- ahem -- drain more blood from the genre. And although the young-adult novels that inspired the series were published way back in 1991 -- years before Sookie Stackhouse or Bella and Edward were created -- we can't help but compare the show to the popular "True Blood" and "Twilight." Here's how all three stack up against each other.

Vampire Boyfriend

"True Blood": Bill is a Civil War vet and Sookie's neighbor.
"Twilight": Edward is a dreamy high school student with a big family.
"Vampire Diaries": Stefan is a renaissance man from classic Italy.
WINNER: Edward. He's more appealing than Stefan and carries less baggage than Bill.


Shape Shifter Guys
"True Blood": Sam's a sweet bar owner who can turn into any animal.
"Twilight": Jacob's a werewolf who is totally in love with Bella.
"Vampire Diaries": Stefan's brother Damon is not only a vamp, but can also turn himself into a scary crow.
WINNER: Jacob. This good-hearted Native American boy only turns himself into a vicious killer to protect his loved ones.


The Romance
"True Blood": Sookie loves Bill, but it's slightly a strange love given that his blood saved her life and may have put her under his thrall somehow.
"Twilight": Bella and Edward are complete and utter soul mates, determined to be together for all eternity.
"Vampire Diaries": Elena is torn between two brothers that she's attracted to.
WINNER: "Vampire Diaries." Elena's is the classic love story, and what girl wouldn't want two hot siblings vying for her love?


The Vampire Rules
"True Blood": The bloodsuckers on this show abide by most of the common vampire rules: They can't go out in the sun without turning into a fritter, can be killed by stakes or by being beheaded, need to drink blood (though synthetic is acceptable), have super speed and can fly (at least some can).
"Twilight": While you could kill one of these vamps with a stake, the sun is not their enemy in the traditional sense of the word. They don't get burnt to a crisp; instead, they get all sparkly in the sunlight.
"Vampire Diaries": These vamps can go out in the sun, but only when wearing a special piece of jewelry that keeps them safe. They like to drink blood and try to keep their identities a secret.
WINNER: "True Blood." We prefer our undead to be creatures of the night. Call us old fashioned.


By the Book?
"True Blood": It hits some of the major plot points and character traits, but has gone its own way and invented new characters, kept some alive and embellished a lot of details.
"Twilight": It's extremely loyal to the books -- painstakingly so, as the fans quibble over any slight alteration or omission.
"Vampire Diaries": Based on the first episode, it's very loyal to the book, but the producers are going to have to do a lot to stretch this into a weekly series.
WINNER: "True Blood." We like the fact that the show is willing to take chances with the source material that usually pay off.

SOMETHING ABOUT 10%

so as i was watching Dahil may isang ikaw. i find what Ella told to Miguel romantic. well its kinda hopeless romantic. "that only 10% of people find their one true love and lived happily like those in fairytale. isnt true or false? well for me its TRUE. like 90% dont end up with the person they really, truly love. and some even ended being an old maid. single forever. some say its ok to be single as long as you have a career, friends and everything but what if you dont have a career friends.. my oh my im just being EMO again..what i want to say is that why do we have so suffer loneliness?? i mean i dont understand why some people dont see you like the way you want to? they just see right through you. they dont appreciate what you do and who you are. or maybe its just me who cant appreciate those people around me and i dont see that person who's staring afar from me. (if there's really someone staring..hehehe) living in this world is so hard. that sometimes i want to be invisible or runaway far never go back again. how i wish i could turn back time so i can rearrange my life the way i want to.. but of course its impossible!!!! i live in a box. these 4 walls of box that doenst open. it has a barrier that cannot be open.. unless there's someone who will have the gut to break that barrier that's the only time that i can see the light.. light or maybe happiness or whatever...whew its just hard for me to accept that i ended up like this.. do i sound remorse? yes i think so... that's why i want to be alone...my head is full of anxiety and everytime i close my eyes i dont know what to expect....loneliness,pain,failure,envy or mabe happiness this time?! i hope so.. how i wish...

GOODBYE MY FRIEND-midz

Today as I go to work. I saw a co-worker before and she tell me the news about our co-worker.. That she’s dead and she was killed as in stab to death. And that was a week ago…O-M-G as in, I never had an idea that she will die like this. Im so shocked.. its like yesterday when I talked to her. She used to go to my workplace and we’d talk about our lives and our works. Whenever I see her she’s like so happy, flashing a big smile in her face and always has a story to tell. What I love most about her is her being loud and that I too get carried away. And onetime they mistaken me of being her.. because of our chinita eyes. I also looking forward to seeing her everyday when I go to her workplace. And ask about the guy my sibling has an eye..im also looking forward to see her whenever I go to the mall.. and last week I think of her, why she’s not texting me anymore. I’m used to receiving her inspirational or wacky text everyday. And then when I heard the news I really cant believe it. She’s so young to die and how morbid the way she dies. I hope you find peace my friend I will pray for you.. Goodbye my Friend May you find Peace..and that Our Lord Jesus Christ guide you wherever you are and your family..

The Fierce Heir

Yun Eun-hye (the heroine of "Coffee Prince") will play Kang Hae-na, the 24-year-old chaebol heir who lives the life of a modern-day princess. Living in her mansion called "Lady Castle," the red-haired Kang lives the glamorous life but fails to make any close friends, let alone find a boyfriend, due to her bossy and picky personality.

Donning a black and turquoise dress with fluffy shoulders, Yun appeared with bright red hair yanked up in a pony tail that made her eyes sharper, a characteristic that fits her character. The role represents a big change for the 25-year-old actress, as she has portrayed warm-hearted and na?ve characters in past dramas like "Coffee Prince" (MBC, 2007) and "Princess Hours" (MBC, 2006). The drama is her first appearance in two years.

"The producer worried that people would hate my character," she said.

"She has a strong personality, but I'll mix it with my own and make the audience connect with her and laugh along the way."

Playing tomboyish personalities in the past didn't require fancy clothes, and now the actress admits having a hard time getting used to the glamour.

"The clothes are so nice and pretty, but it's hard to move!" she said laughing.


A Butler With a Purpose


The actor who once played a romantic CEO in the popular drama "My Wife Is a Superwoman" (MBC, 2009) will appear as the handsome yet silly playboy-turned-butler Seo Dong-chan. In order to support his sick mother, Seo jumps into the working world as a playboy, only to find himself in debt. To make the real money he needs, he moves into Lady Castle to work as a butler and Kang's personal assistant.

"When I played Tae-bong in `Superwoman,' all I did was walk around and answer phones, but now I have to carry heavy things, run errands and clean the house! I really am going through a great transition in status," Yoon said.

"Like Jim Carrey, I enjoy acting comical characters, so viewers will get to see me exaggerating a lot."


Rich Yet Modest


Jung, who walked on rooftops and fought with swords in the drama "Moon River" (MBC, 2009), will appear as the poised and modest Lee Tae-yoon.

Although born into a rich family, the thoughtful Lee refuses to use his fame and money for success, and opens a small law firm with his friend to help the poor and powerless. For Lee, Kang is just another rich and stubborn girl, but when he finds out about her tragic past, he starts to open up.

"I used to always be flying around forests using wires, but now I get to ride nice cars! It's nice and very comfortable indeed," he said smiling.

But the life on an heir comes with complications, and the actor added that the fancy clothes did limit his movement.

"The suits are so fitted to look fashionable, but I can barely breathe!"

Along with showcasing the three characters, the new KBS drama will portray the essence of royalty, from horseback riding, flashy cars and beautiful mansions to Yun's dressy wardrobe and accessories.

it will be show in GMA7 but most of the fans want it to be aired in ABS-CBN anyways since it is a good drama... and all of my ulzzang sisters are talking about this drama i became curious about it. they are discussing about junse and eun sung having foursome? i dont know but when i check it out its really a must see drama for this year. also some of my favs: CITY HALL, this is a romantic comedy starring Cha Seung Won and Kim Sun Ah from My name is Kim Sam Sun. this is one hilarious series... the most unforgettable scene for me is, embarrassing rather is when Mi Rae painted Deputy Mayor's House, and she falls down, there's DM to catch her but he catch her wrongly...wehehe i almost burst out in laughter when i saw it.
